Mardi Himal Trek / Mardi Base Camp Trekking is an adventure that takes you to the hidden areas of the massive Annapurna Himalayan range of peaks. It takes place beneath the magnificent South Face of Machhapuchare Himal, also known as "Fish Tail," which is where Mardi Himal base camp is located.
An exciting and fascinating nation in which walks lead you into the peaceful wilderness, away from the main busy trekking trails and villages, in harmony with the stunning views of Machhapuchare, Mardi Himal, and Annapurna. This is a truly enjoyable walk that takes you into the charming woodland of tall rhododendron, oak, pine, and fir tree lines. As the walk progresses, you'll pass through scenic small plateaus at Mardi Himal Base Camp where the tree lines become shorter and shorter alpine bushes.

What's to come?
The Mardi Himal trek provides stunning close-up views of Machhapuchare Himal, also known as Fish Tail peak due to its twin summits, which are Himalayan peaks that have never been climbed. A revered mountain, Machhapuchare Himal dominates the Pokhara valley and walks to Mardi Himal base camp.
The walk takes you into a cool, peaceful alpine forest with daily views of snow-capped peaks, dramatic landscapes with rolling green hills and valleys, and a break from the main, busy trekking trails. Trek to Mardi Himal, one of the most memorable parts of the adventure, to take in the views and the pure mountain air.
Places of interest and culture:
Mardi Himal Traveling where strolling course leads you into decent conventional homestead towns of Dhampus and Potana occupied by slope clan Gurung individuals well known as unbelievable Gurkha fighters in unfamiliar armies English and Indian Armed force since over hundred years of history.
The Gurung are one of the largest tribes in the middle and high hills of the Annapurna and Lamjung Himal regions. Their primary occupations are farming and cattle herding, with the exception of men who join the military. The Bon practice, a unique form of Buddhist worship of natural spirits, is part of the Gurung religion and culture. Before embarking on the magnificent Mardi Himal Base Camp Trek, it is fascinating to observe local customs and cultures. Most of the villages along the way lead to tranquil Phewa lakes with stunning mountain views and beautiful Pokhara.
Seasons and the Trail:
After the final village of Deuralin, walking trails are well-established until Deurali and Potana, where our route enters dense woodland with single, narrow tracks in the entire mountain wilderness with a vague and faint path at times.
The trek begins with a drive to Pokhara, where you can walk from warm lowlands to cooler alpine hills before entering the mountainous zone. The best time to go on this trek to Mardi Himal is from March to May, when wildflowers are in bloom and the country is alive with rhododendron and other wildflowers. The morning to midday is almost clear with sunshine, but the afternoon can be cloudy with the possibility of a few showers and sometimes snow.
September, October, and December are also great months for hiking in the Himalayas, with almost clear days that can get cold in the morning and at night. You can see all of the peaks and get short sunlight from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m.

3Drive / Fly to Pokhara 820m (220 k.m - 06 hrs rides (30 mins by air).
The morning begins with a drive on traveler mentor or more modest vehicle as gathering size for an overland excursion that removes you from Kathmandu valley, heading into low hotter regions with perspectives on snowcapped mountains. 4Drive to Dhampus village 1,530 m and trek to Deurali 2,150 m - 05 hrs.
After a magnificent short-term stop at Pokhara with fantastic perspectives on Annapurna Himal and Machhapuchare tops 'Fish Tail', finishing breakfast then taking a drive past Pokhara valley to begin our most memorable days' journey. Drive along confronting perspectives on Annapurna Himalaya as ride leads past ranch towns and towns and afterward drive leads ups on winding crisscross street to reach at beautiful slope edge at Dhampus town, offers a super display of Annapurna-Manaslu scope of mountains with radiant Machhapuchare Himal the Fish Tail top. 5Trek to Kokar Forest camp 2,520m - 04 hrs.
After a pleasant overnight stop in Deurali with fantastic morning views, walk begins heading north away from main trekking trail along a ridgeline into cool shade of forest facing views of Annapurna I and South with Huinchuli, towards east Annapurna IV-II and Lamjung Himal and then finally ending the day walk at Forest Camp for overnight stop, located in the middle of forest with number of simple lodges.

6Trek to Low Camp 2,970 m - 05 hrs.
From here, walk leads higher climb leads to steep uphill trail into forest walking past pasture land to reach at Low Camp for an overnight stop, as our walk leads closer to Mardi base camp at low Camp enjoy views of surrounding landscapes and mountains at close range.

7Trek to High camp 3, 700 m - 05 hrs.
Morning walk leads with grand vista of beautiful landscapes and snow-clad peaks in perfect tranquil surrounding, as walk leads higher to reach at High Camp, where air gets cooler with steep climb to reach at High Camp, from here tree lines fades for short rhododendron and juniper bushes, High Camp located on remote and isolated spot with some nice simple lodge for overnight accommodation with basic facilities commanding super views of Annapurna Himalaya.

8Free day at High Camp for hike to Mardi Himal base camp at 4,500 m.
Today walk prompts our last objective and too the most elevated place of the experience at over 4,500 m high. The morning begins with a lofty move along a ridgeline to arrive at on a secret level at the foundation of Mardi Himal just underneath transcending Mt. Machhapuchare; this region is referred to likewise called as 'Other Safe-haven' named by early trailblazer Jimmy Roberts when he previously investigated this in mid 1970's. In the wake of partaking in the perspectives on super mountain scene return back on a similar course for a short-term stop.

9Trek to Forest Camp - 05 hrs.

10Trek to Siding village 1,750m | 5,740ft - 06 hrs.
After a fabulous time on the high ridges of Mardi Himal with beautiful views and back into forest of rhododendron and pines trees, retracing the journey back on same trail at Jungle Camp and beyond with more downhill walk to reach at Sidang village located between the junction to another East and West route to Mardi Himal on warmer area for overnight stop before ending this lovely trek next day.

11Short walk and drive back to Pokhara with afternoon free.
From Siding village where our fabulous walks complete with morning drive of an hour takes you back to Pokhara after a great and wonderful time up in the high mountains. At Pokhara with ample time to enjoy the views of Annapurna and as well for free individual activities by the shore of Phewa Lake.
