Gosainkunda Heli Tour
Gosainkunda is a high-altitude freshwater lake located in the Langtang region of Nepal. It is considered a holy site by both Hindus and Buddhists, and thousands of pilgrims visit the lake during the full moon festival of Janai Purnima in August.
Gosainkunda is situated at an altitude of 4,380 meters (14,370 feet) above sea level and is surrounded by the Himalayan mountains. The lake is believed to have formed from the waters of the glacier-fed Trishuli River and is also the source of the same river.
Apart from its religious significance, Gosainkunda is also a popular trekking destination for adventure enthusiasts. The trek to Gosainkunda offers stunning views of the Himalayan mountain range and the surrounding valleys. The trek usually takes 5-7 days and passes through forests, traditional villages, and alpine meadows.
However, due to its high altitude, the trek to Gosainkunda can be challenging and requires proper acclimatization. It is recommended to take a guide or a porter while trekking in this region.
